At Truth Tabernacle, our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and the apostolic faith taught in the early Church. We strive to live out the Gospel with sincerity, love, and obedience to God’s Word.
We believe there is one God, and His name is Jesus.
The Bible teaches that God is not divided into persons, but is one, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Deuteronomy 6:4 – “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.”
Colossians 2:9 – “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
John 1:14 – “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”
Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, the visible image of the invisible God.
We believe in the full Gospel message—Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection—and obey it through repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
Repentance is turning away from sin and turning wholeheartedly toward God.
Acts 3:19 – “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…”
We believe the biblical mode of baptism is full immersion in the name of Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:38 – “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…”
Acts 10:48 – “And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.”
Acts 22:16 – “Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”
The early Church baptized only in the name of Jesus—this is the Apostolic pattern.
We believe that the infilling of the Holy Ghost is for everyone today, just as in the Book of Acts.
Acts 2:4 – “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues…”
Acts 2:39 – “For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off…”
Speaking in tongues is the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost.
We believe that living for God means pursuing holiness, growing spiritually, and letting Jesus transform our lives from the inside out.
Hebrews 12:14 – “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
Romans 12:1–2 – “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed…”
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship Jesus, grow in the Word, serve one another, and reach our world with the Gospel.
Acts 2:42 – “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship…”
